As mentioned elsewhere, Damien has a superhero alter ego (using the term as loosely as possible here) named Compulso. He features in quite a few strips, but this is the original sketch that started it, warts and all.

The most frustrating thing about The Norms from a reader's point of view is probably that I have never drawn the story in any kind of chronological order. While certain strips do follow on from each other, the story is generally told in scraps, with no real beginning or end to speak of.
This is probably most clear in the following two strips. I consider these to be from the "end" of the story, and yet before and after them, it is as though nothing happened.
